In a remarkable step toward promoting community-driven healthcare support, Faysal Bank has partnered with the Patients’ Aid Foundation unite for Thalassemia (PAF) to launch the impactful ‘Faysal Bank x Patients’ Aid – Bike A Cause’ initiative. This charitable event is dedicated to raising vital funds for the treatment of underprivileged Thalassemia patients receiving care at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), one of Karachi’s leading public healthcare institutions.

Scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 25, 2024, the event will bring together the vibrant Karachi Cyclists Community, who will embark on a symbolic ride toward JPMC. Their journey not only promotes fitness and unity but also serves as a powerful gesture of solidarity with patients fighting a lifelong battle against Thalassemia.

Thalassemia is a severe genetic blood disorder that requires frequent blood transfusions, iron chelation therapy, and continuous medical monitoring treatments that are often financially out of reach for many families. Through this initiative, Faysal Bank and PAF aim to generate both financial support and public awareness, shining a spotlight on the healthcare challenges faced by marginalized communities in Pakistan.

‘Aid Foundation Unite for Thalassemia PatientsBike A Cause’ embodies the spirit of social responsibility, encouraging individuals and organizations to come together in meaningful ways. Every pedal taken during this ride will help improve access to life-saving care and reaffirm the collective belief that healthcare is a right, not a privilege..

Since its inception in 1990, the Patients’ Aid Foundation has revolutionized JPMC, making it a state-of-the-art hospital providing free, world-class healthcare to economically disadvantaged patients across Pakistan.
