PM Imran Khan commends Khyber Teaching Hospital Revamp after the complete renovation of Khyber Teaching Hospital. The PM of Pakistan congratulates the hospital’s board of governors for their effort. The Khyber Teaching Hospital is now improved and structured to facilitate the patients. The restoration process was tough though it accomplished its goal. The PM tweeted and remarked news of the revamping of the hospital.
“Khyber Teaching Hospital has been revamped and modernized after a lot of effort,” the premier said.

Report before Revamp:
In December, the provincial government ordered the hospital’s board of directors to suspend seven officials for their negligent work. According to the report, six Covid patients died due to the unavailability of oxygen supply. The system ran out. Subsequently that incident, the provincial government ordered the BoD to submit a report within 48 hours.
However, the report was ready. BoD handed the report to Chief Minister Mahmood Khan within a day. Also, he assured them that would deal culprit with an iron hand. If the BoD did not take any action, the provincial government itself would inquire and proceed against them. Though, the Chief Minister of KP announced a sum of Rs 1 million each for the relatives of the deceased.

“It is easy to build a new state of the art hospital but very difficult to fix our existing government hospitals”
PM wrote on his official tweeter handle. Hence, the premier congratulates the board of directors and management for Khyber Teaching Hospital revamp.
