Pakistan’s cricket team did something few expected them to do Friday night: they defeated India by 10 wickets in a World Cup match. Sportsmanship Wins Heart Across The Nation-Pak vs Ind
The T20 contest included many firsts, including Pakistan’s first win over India in a World Cup match, as well as Pakistan’s first win by 10 wickets and India’s first loss by 10 wickets. The game, on the other hand, taught us the value of sportsmanship.

Kohli’s sportsmanship demonstrated to supporters that, at the end of the day, a well-played game is a well-played game regardless of the outcome.
Many viewers simply pleased to see Azam and Kohli in the same frame.
Former captain MS Dhoni spoke to Azam, Imad Wasim, Shahnawaz Dahani, and Shoaib Mali on the field, which was a touching moment.
Great win today for #Pakistan cricket team. We had a 12-0 losing record vs. #India in the World Cups.

But to break the long standing curse with ZERO players out is satisfying! Great sportsmanship from Indian captain and players. #INDvPAK #T20WorldCup pic.twitter.com/aIqXXhCXYh

Kohli and Dhoni are legends among Pakistani cricket players (and fans), and meeting them is like meeting your heroes. The players’ graciousness after losing is a great testament to sportsmanship.
Whether you win or lose, mutual respect is far more valuable than a scorecard at the end of the day. Thousands of fans praised the players not only for how they played the game, but also for how they acted afterward on Twitter.
While we’re thrilled Pakistan triumphed (and what a victory! ), we’re even more pleased to observe the players’ mutual respect on and off the field. We hope to see more heartfelt moments like this at the T20 World Cup and afterwards.
