Azad Kashmir Prime Minister (PM) Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said it was decided that there would be no income tax for the IT sector.
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced a special package for the IT sector and other industries.

Vacant land and buildings for the IT industry are also made available by the government. The companies exporting up to 20% within the IT industry receive incentives and tax exemptions from the government.
He also said that an IT Center of Excellence will be established in Rawalakot Azad Kashmir. A project under construction for an IT Center of Excellence will start in Muzaffarabad.
