The hashtag #TiktokSpreadsVulgarity is trending in Pakistan. ByteDance, based in China, owns the app known as Tiktok, which has been downloaded around 39 million times in Pakistan. This app provides users with a variety of music and dialogue options, allowing them to lip-sync and create funny or entertaining videos.
TikTok was banned last October for hosting “immoral” and “indecent” videos, but the business was able to promise the Pakistani government that videos would be reviewed “in conformity with social standards and the laws of Pakistan,” and the app reopened a week and a half later.
People are blaming it for spreading vulgarity and it’s trying to promote LGBT and people are recommending to stop the use of Tiktok as if one is using it he is contributing its cause. Below you can see some tweets of the people.
Tiktok, a social media app, is still a hot issue on multiple platforms. While some people are against the usage of these applications, others believe they are safe. What are your thoughts on this? Leave your thoughts in the comments area.
