At Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco, California, the furniture, which was up for auction 24 hours a day, was used.
Do you want to purchase a piece of Twitter’s past? Now is your chance to bid on hundreds of pieces of furniture and decor that the company sells online. listed in Twitter’s cost-cutting initiative, which began shortly after CEO Elon Musk took office and sold approximately 7,500 individuals, is said to have included the auction, which was concluded by Musk. We have eliminated benefits like free meals at Twitter offices and laid off employees. Since taking over as CEO, additional changes have been made to boost the company’s cash flow. The introduction of a $10 verification badge and a username auction plan are two examples of these modifications.

A Twitter furniture auction is justifiable given that the company may not require much of the furniture it owns now that half of its employees have retired.

A wide selection of office furniture and supplies are up for grabs at the auction. Accessories for the kitchen, such as the high-quality espresso machine and soda dispenser from La Marzocco. Coffee tables and other shared-use furniture are also up for auction.

Twitter also included inexpensive items like office drawers and printing equipment for $60.

Elon Musk made the announcement shortly after joining the Twitter office that the company was in serious financial trouble as a result of falling ad revenue.

People on the internet yelled at Mr. Musk, claiming that Musk had put the furniture up for auction to recover costs associated with Twitter’s acquisition. Heritage Global Partners president Nick Dove stated, “I really think that with the proceeds from selling a few computers and chairs, I could get the mountain there,” in response to this criticism. They are liars, if there are any.”
