Karan Johar replaced Kartik Aaryan from Dostana 2
Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions has officially announced its stance amid Kartik Aaryan’s Dostana 2 exit over on social media.
According to a source close to the development unit of Dostana 2, Kartik Aaryan has been replaced by the makers.
Due to “unprofessional behavior” and has creative differences with the production house the actor was removed from the film. The source exclusively told to media.
In response to Kartik being “blacklisted” by the “DHARMA” production company, the creators have issued an official statement.
The announcement was made in the form of a written statement on Instagram:
“Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence.
We will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”
It is recently revealed that Kartik’s recasting already cost the production house a loss of 20 crores. And in light of the public scandal, they have also decided to cut all ties with the actor for future projects.
Karthik Aaryan’s first and upcoming thriller film Dhamaka which is currently in the post-production stage will release on Netflix, post which he will be seen in the standalone sequel Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
He has signed a three-film deal contract with Eros for a whopping amount of 75 crores. He is becoming the highest paid young generation actor in Bollywood. Aaryan will feature in Rohit Dhawan’s next film. The Hindi remake of Allu Arjun‘s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and an action film set in Hong Kong directed by Om Raut.
He is also committed to play the title role in Freddy, produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chilies Entertainment and helmed by filmmaker Ajay Bahl.
Karthik Aaryan has also signed 2 films with Ronnie Screwvala’s banner.
