ISLAMABAD: TikTok’s services have reinstated by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). After the platform pledged to regulate immoral and filthy content. PTA Bring Back TikTok after assurance.
Following the introduction of the video platform ban on July 20, 2021. PTA maintained contact with the social media app’s management.
According to a news release issued by the PTA here on Friday, top management of the platform assured the PTA of its commitment to take required measures to restrict unlawful content. Compliance with local laws and societal norms as a result of ongoing engagement.

The TikTok management also says that users who submit illegal content. A regular basis will be ban from utilizing the network.

The company also assured that the users who are continuously involved in uploading unlawful content will be blocked from using the platform.

Keeping in view the assurances, the Authority has decided to lift the ban on #TikTok forthwith.
PTA will continue to monitor the platform in order to ensure that unlawful content contrary to Pakistan’s law and societal values is not disseminated.

Government regulatory authorities have decided to lift the ban on TikTok, a Chinese video-sharing platform. Immediately in light of the assurances.
