Shahid Afridi becomes a part of OctoberNow, for Digitizing Pakistan

Shahid Afridi becomes a part of OctoberNow, for Digitizing Pakistan. OctoberNow Pakistan’s fastest-growing eCommerce platform, steps into the digital world. He joined OctoberNow to lead the font-based Digital Pakistan initiative. He believes firmly that the only way forward for Pakistan is Digital Pakistan.

OctoberNow’s founder and CEO commented on the participation of Afridi as

Afridi is one of the most iconic Pakistani figures of all time, and we believe his leadership will ensure that OctoberNow can move towards our goal of spreading the platform across the nation.

Afridi told the team during the team meeting that he is not a brand ambassador but OctoberNow’s Kaptaan.

Since its formal launch in April 2020, OctoberNow has become one of the fastest-growing e-commerce platforms. Received a phenomenal response in less than a year. It is a marketplace through an e-commerce platform, wallet, and fintech solution that connects merchants with clients.

In under one year, OctoberNow has amassed 300,000 users. Many of the unique offerings that set it apart from all other online grocery platforms are what makes OctoberNow such an interesting platform.

OctoberNow allows customers to order groceries from leading neighborhood stores, serving on a single platform as the bridge that connects customers with all of their preferred stores.

The world has shifted into a new digital era, and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this has accelerated, and it’s time for Pakistan to leap to e-commerce, using it to the advantage of the nation.

Afridi will be the first international player to lead such a platform for e-commerce and help to achieve a Digital Pakistan.
