Imran Khan Rejected General Bajwa’s Plan

Hamid Mir, a prominent Pakistani journalist, has recently revealed. Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi rejected a plan proposed by General Bajwa. The Chief of Army Staff, to give up Kashmir to India. Imran Khan Rejected General Bajwa’s Plan.

According to Mir, Bajwa had proposed the plan in a meeting with Khan and Qureshi. Suggesting that Pakistan should relinquish its claim to Kashmir. In exchange for other concessions from India.

However, both Khan and Qureshi rejected the proposal. Stating that the issue of Kashmir was non-negotiable. And that Pakistan would continue to support the Kashmiri people in their struggle for self-determination.

Mir’s revelation has sparked controversy and debate in Pakistan. Many questioned the role of the military in the country’s foreign policy decisions.

Some have praised Khan and Qureshi for standing up to the military. And asserting civilian control over foreign policy. Others, however, have criticized them for making the revelation public. And potentially damaging the country’s national security.

The issue of Kashmir has long been a point of contention between India and Pakistan. With both countries claiming sovereignty over the region. The dispute has led to several wars between the two nations. And has remained a major source of tension in the region.

Khan and Qureshi’s rejection of Bajwa’s plan underscores the importance of the Kashmir issue. To Pakistan and its commitment to supporting the rights of the Kashmiri people.
