Following this, PTV issued another statement on social media claiming that Dr. Noman Niaz and Shoaib Akhtar have legitimate employment. And contract agreements with Pakistan Television, respectively. Cancellation is not easy; it necessitates a legal process of employment and contract termination. Contract termination cannot be done unilaterally.

Dr. Nauman’s pre-match programme was not broadcast earlier on Thursday evening. Prompting conflicting allegations in the Pakistani media that the inquiry committee had recommended that Dr. Nauman Niaz be taken off the air.
PTV Sports, on the other hand, broadcasted a post-match programme between Australia and Sri Lanka. England’s David Gower and female cricketer Sana Mir hosted the occasion.

Dr. Noman Niaz met with Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry. And the Managing Director of PTV at Fawad Chaudhry’s house on Thursday night. Shoaib Akhtar, a former Pakistan cricket team fast bowler. Refused to appear before a committee set up to investigate the incident involving PTV Sports broadcaster Dr. Noman Niaz earlier on Thursday.
