TOP 10 PAKISTAN PLACES TO VISIT

The nation is now on the brink of something special, after decades of political turmoil and security issues that eliminated Pakistan from the list of all but the most courageous travellers. Thanks to strengthened security and political peace, Pakistan has opened its doors to travelers from all over the world – TOP 10 PAKISTAN PLACES TO VISIT.
Pakistan is a country with great potential for tourism. Tourist attractions range from beautiful natural elements in the Northern areas of Pakistan to hundreds of cultural and historical places in cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, the Nation’s capital, Quetta, and so on.


However, for the past few years, Pakistan has not been able to meet its potential tourist numbers due to several unfortunate reasons. Anyway, Pakistan is home to many such things which the tourists would love to see and here, we will be discussing a few of those.

1. Neelum Valley

The Neelum Valley is one of the most desirable places for tourists due to its popular lush greenery, springs, streams, lakes, and hilly and messy mountains. Some of its popular places include Athmuqam, Kutton Jagran, Karen, Neelum, Ratti Galli, Baboon, Noori top, Sharda, Sharda Castle, Kel, Surgon, Halmet, Taobut, Sharda University (the oldest subcontinental university) and many more.

2.  Lake Saif-ul-Malook

This beauty is found at the north end of the Kaghan Valley. It is situated in the north-east of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Mansehra Division. Not only the mountains surrounding it make the place gorgeous, but its reflection in the lake is absolutely spectacular! Summers is a good time to use jeeps here. However, in winter, it can take a long time to get here, and occasionally jeeps are not a safe choice to accept icy roads.

Swat Valley, Mini Switzerland Pakistan has many attractions to enjoy, such as Mahodand Valley & Lake, Natural Ushu Valley & Ushu Forest, Malam Jabba (famous Swat Valley Ski Resort), Madyan, Swat & Kalam Vallies, Bonir, Der and many other natural and beautiful locations.

4. Hunza Valley

The Hunza Valley is the most beautiful place to visit, and it has many things to explore. There are plenty of these lovely places. Rakaposhi Base Camp; Diran Base Camp; Hoper Glacier; Pass and Gulmit; Khunjrab Pass; Atta Abad Lake and Nagar Valley.

5.Deosai

Referred to as the ‘land of giants’, this beauty is situated in the Astore District of Gilgit-Baltistan. It is on the boundary of Karakorum and western Himalayas. It is home to various kinds of flowers, countless species of animal, including the brown bear and snow leopard. It is the highest plateau in the world. So if you wish to see wildlife in Pakistan, this place cannot be missed.

6. Makli Necropolises

Makli Necropolises is one of the largest funerary sites in the world and was a UNESCO World heritage site in 1891. It is an excellent proof of Sindhi civilization of ancient times. It houses around 500,000 to 1 million tombs and includes several tombs of Sufi saints and scholars.

7. Siri Paye

A great wonder of nature that is sadly sometimes missed by international visitors, Siri Paye is the most beautiful spot to explore in the corner of the province of Kaghan. It’s only three to four miles (or six kilometres) away from the Shogran Valley. This green plateau is on top of the Hindu Kash Mountains.
Visitors can be refreshed by the many ponds that surround the landscape and accompany the spectacular fields with bright yellow flowers. This spot is sure to refresh the soul of visitors from whatever place in the world they hail.

8. Gorakh Hill station

Gorakh is number eleven in the top 30 of the best places to visit in Paksitan. Gorakh is situated 95 kilometres northwest of Dadu in the province of Sindh.
The hill station has a very different atmosphere than the other parts of Sindh. Much of Sindh has a mild atmosphere, while Gorakh has a cool climate and has snowfall at times. The site is very popular with local and foreign visitors.

9. Mazar-e-Quaid

It is the mausoleum of Quaid-e – Azam, father of Pakistan, located in Karachi, Sindh. It is made of white marble and has been designed by architect Yahya Merchant. When visiting this magnificent land, one can not escape without visiting the Founder ‘s grave. It’s not only a beautiful place, it’s also a place to remember the guy behind Pakistan ‘s independence.

10. Kalash Valleys

The Kalash Valleys, consisting of Bumboret, Rumbur and Birir, are home to the Kalash people, a religious and ethnic group in Pakistan with their own values, culture and language. The valleys in which they dwell are definitely some of the most beautiful areas in Pakistan – not just because of their natural splendour, but also because of the majesty of the Kalash itself.
The Rumbur Valley is particularly stunning. Here, miles of dusty roads and mountains wander along the Kalash River. The Kalash people live in wooden homes that stick to the high hills, and the women are especially famous for their brightly coloured traditional dress and headwear that varies from everything else you can find in Pakistan.
