It all started when a little girl Marwah was raped and burned alive and after that, a woman who ran out of petrol was gang-raped on the motorway in front of her kids.

After that, a woman in Kashmore was gang raped with her daughter who were subsequently sold off to some buyers.
People were Really Angry!
They wanted the rapists to be punished strictly. They wanted the public hanging of the rapists or the castration, there was no in-between.
Many Protests were conducted.
There were protests all over the country. People wanted justice and an end to this brutality. Women wanted to be free of fear, they were tired of living their lives in a box. They wanted to end this all at once.
After days of protests and public outrage, the government finally decided to do something.
On 14th September, PM Imran Khan approved a draft bill to punish rapists with chemical castration to set up a horrible and revolting example out of the sex offenders.
On 24 November, the PM approves Chemical Catstration for Sex Offenders.
PM Imran Khan and the Federal Cabinet of Pakistan approves the punishment for castration for rape convicts. It left people happy yet confused at the same time.
Women had mixed feelings, not sure how to react.
Let’s see how this bill goes and how the rapists are being punished.
Hoping for the best! Hope this law is implemented in the country and brings an end to this rape culture or at least minimize the rape culture.
