Akhtar remarked on Twitter that he is “taking a higher moral stand” and that he wants to “move on” from the “unpleasant experience.”
After encountering “rude and disrespectful” behavior during a show on PTV Sports presented by Niaz a few days ago, Akhtar quit live on air.

Shoaib Akhtar Accepts Dr Noman Niaz apology after screen clash
After Pakistan’s triumph against New Zealand, Akhtar and Niaz had a verbal fight while debating the impact of the Lahore Qalandars’ Player Development Program (PDP) on pacers Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf’s performance on a post-match broadcast.
“You’re being a little rude and I don’t want to say this: but if you’re being over smart, you can go. I am saying this on-air,” Niaz told Akhtar before switching to a commercial break.

PTV quickly removed Niaz and Akhtar from the airwaves, and a commission was formed to examine the event.
Niaz later apologized to Akhtar, saying that the “repercussions of his on-air outburst were completely appropriate.”

“It’s human to make mistakes, but that shouldn’t have happened, and for that I apologise not once, but a million times. “I know I wounded a lot of people’s feelings, including Shoaib Akhtar. Who has been a tremendous star… whether it was his fault or not,” Niaz stated on Rauf Klasra’s YouTube channel.
